CareGARD Warranty Services Announces New CFO

To all our Dealers and Partners:
AFG Companies/CareGARD Warranty Services, Inc., through the strength of its dealers, partners, and staff continues to grow despite the headwinds our industry currently faces. We credit our managed growth in part to the quality of customer service our professional staff provides to the retail automotive industry. With the particularly significant growth in the area of reinsurance and the importance our dealers and partners place on this segment of our business, we have determined to contribute significantly more focus to this area in order to maintain our high standard of customer service.

As a result of this increased focus, AFG Companies/CareGARD has determined to place one of its strongest assets in a position to drive the value proposition for our reinsurance clients.

Please join us in congratulating Phil Apgar, an 8 year veteran of AFG/CareGARD, in his acceptance of the position of Senior Vice President of Reinsurance Services. Phil and his staff will be solely focused on increasing the wealth opportunity and customer service experience for our reinsurance clients. Phil has served as the Company's CFO and will be transitioning out of that role to assume this new role over the next several weeks.

We would also like to announce the addition of Russell Howells to AFG Companies/CareGARD as our Chief Financial Officer. Russell comes to us with 20 years of accounting experience including 12 years with a national F&I product and training company, where he served as the CFO. Please join us in welcoming Russell to the AFG/CWS team!
